From homesickness to revision burnout, uni can often feel a bit overwhelming, lonely, and a lot more emotionally intense than people expect.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">So, let\u2019s be real for a second. But<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> behind closed doors, so many students are quietly dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness, or stress. You\u2019re not weird, you\u2019re not failing, you\u2019re human. Opening<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"none\">to friends or seeking help isn\u2019t a weakness, it\u2019s a strength.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Homesickness is totally normal\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Whether you moved an hour away or across the country, feeling homesick hits hard and often unexpectedly throughout the year. It doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re not ready for uni. It means you\u2019re adjusting to a big change. Stay connected to home but also give yourself space to create your new normal.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"2\"><strong>Routines can be a lifesaver\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">When everything feels chaotic, building little rituals can anchor you. Regular sleep, meals, walks, or even just a weekly coffee with a mate can give structure to your week. Start small. Your routine doesn\u2019t need to be perfect, just yours.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The academic pressure is real\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Deadlines, essays, reading lists and exams, it piles up fast. Imposter syndrome is also a sneaky demon. If you\u2019re feeling overwhelmed, talk to someone, a tutor, a course mate, your wellbeing team. No grade is worth burning out over. You\u2019re more than your grade.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Know what support is out there\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Most unis offer free mental health resources counselling, workshops, helplines, and wellbeing services. Use them! They exist for you. Also look at national services like Mind, Student Minds, and Nightline. Some days you\u2019ll thrive. Other days you\u2019ll eat toast in bed and shed tears over a tricky assignment. Let yourself feel your feelings without judg<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ment.
