After weeks of intense revision, caffeine-fuelled late nights and gruelling study sessions, it&#8217;s time to switch off and recharge.<\/p>\n<p>But post-exam season can come with mixed emotions. Some people feel instant relief, while others stress about results or struggle to adjust back to a normal routine.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re unsure how to spend your well-earned break, here\u2019s a practical guide to recovering and making the most of your time off.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><strong>Dealing with post-exam stress and results anxiety<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Even though the exams are done, the stress doesn\u2019t always disappear immediately. Many students experience\u202fresults anxiety, worrying about their grades and overanalysing their performance. Here\u2019s how to handle it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Detach yourself from the exam mindset<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 what\u2019s done is done! Avoid discussing your answers too much with classmates; it won\u2019t change the outcome.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Distract yourself with enjoyable activities<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 do something fun to shift your focus from worrying to relaxing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Limit checking results obsessively<\/strong> \u2013 if you have a long wait for results, set boundaries for when you\u2019ll check updates or discuss them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Talk it out<\/strong>\u202f\u2013 if you\u2019re feeling anxious, vent to a friend, family member or a student support service such as Student Minds.
