Kortext partners with EBSCO to deliver seamless access to digital learning resources via GOBI and Mosaic

London, 16 December 2025 – Kortext and EBSCO Information Services today announce a major new partnership, making Kortext’s catalogue of 3.5 million eBooks available for libraries to discover, select and acquire directly through GOBI and Mosaic for the first time.

This collaboration builds on a shared commitment by both parties to provide libraries worldwide with greater market choice and more streamlined workflows for efficient content provision.

By bringing Kortext titles into GOBI and Mosaic, customers will benefit from a fully integrated ordering experience and direct access to Kortext’s accessible learning platform, with personalisation options and smart study tools to support improved student experiences.

In addition, this work will help libraries optimise digital content acquisition and automate key processes with FOLIO, the open-source library services platform, as well as via all major Library Management Systems supported by EBSCO’s acquisition platforms GOBI and Mosaic.

‘Kortext is delighted to be working with EBSCO to bring even more choice to the platforms libraries rely on every day for content discovery and acquisition. By enabling Kortext’s advanced study tools on content purchased through GOBI and Mosaic, we can help institutions deliver richer digital experiences and empower learners to make the most of their library resources.’
Mark Edmondson, UK Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, Kortext.

‘EBSCO is committed to its mission of providing choice to libraries through its marketplace products. This partnership with Kortext – bringing key learning materials, as well as library monographs, into the realm of standard library acquisition processes – is a big step forward to broader access and streamlined workflows.’
Jon Elwell, Senior Vice President of Books, EBSCO Information Services.

The integration of Kortext’s catalogue into GOBI and Mosaic is scheduled to begin in early 2026, with titles becoming available for library acquisition shortly after.
