Kortext achieves top ranking with 100% gold ASPIREscore for 2026
Kortext has once again achieved a 100% gold ASPIREscore for the quality and transparency of our accessibility information, ranking joint first on the ASPIRElist of digital platforms.
How ASPIRE assesses statement quality
ASPIRE provides external verification and ranking for accessibility statements across learning platforms and publishers. Kortext has been a supporter of ASPIRE since its inception in 2018, earning an excellence award at the inaugural ASPIRE Awards.
The latest ASPIREreview by accessibility specialists at textBOX details Kortext’s 100% score across all communication and content information criteria. These include: discoverability, currency, contact information, DRM transparency, image descriptions, navigation, screen reader compatibility, text‑to‑speech and magnification/reflow.
Our transparent accessibility statement
As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusive learning, we expanded and refreshed our accessibility statement for 2026. It now includes:
• A more detailed testing and governance section
• Confirmation of our alignment with relevant legislation
• A screen reader and browser/OS compatibility matrix
• New keyboard shortcuts and troubleshooting guidance
These updates provide ‘exactly the kind of user‑focused transparency that builds confidence with users and procurement teams’, according to the Kortext ASPIREreview.
‘ASPIRE is delighted to recognise Kortext’s continued commitment to accessible learning. The 2026 statement builds on strong foundations and focuses on ensuring that the user experience is central to everything that Kortext does. The gold-rated, 100% ASPIREscore is well-deserved, and we look forward to seeing the evolution of Kortext’s statement and platform in the years to come.’
Huw Alexander, Managing Director, textBOX.
