Kortext has been named as one of the 70 Fastest Growing Tech Companies by tech group Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK).  Previous alumni of the prestigious list include currency transfer specialist Transferwise, travel website Skyscanner and virtual keyboard app Swiftkey

“The UK’s most ambitious tech scale ups have been going from strength to strength, and we’re proud to celebrate what this year’s founders have achieved,” said SVC2UK director Janet Coyle.

James Gray, CEO and Founder of Kortext, said “this is a great acknowledgement of the growth that we’ve achieved and the trajectory that we’re on.  The international HE market’s transition from print to digital continues to accelerate and Kortext is supporting an ever growing number of universities and students to benefit from that change.”

Kortext’s online platform and offline apps provide users with access to over 1,000,000 core ebooks from 2,000+ international academic publishers.  Teachers and learners use the platform’s enhanced study tools for self study, collaboration and testing all within a truly mobile solution that syncs a user’s activity to their cloud account. Teachers and institutions see detailed usage analytics which provide powerful insights into student engagement, progression and projected achievement helping them to shape individual learning pathways for students and support those at risk of disengaging with their course.
