Kortext wins Digital Education Team of the Year!
On Monday 6th December, Kortext scooped Team of the Year at the Digital Education Awards in a ceremony that recognised the best digital people, products and platforms transforming education worldwide.
This year, the awards celebrated digital education across 14 categories, from Digital Classroom Aid and Breakthrough Product to Team and Institution of the Year.
Embracing technology
The team was recognised for embracing technology to solve a problem in a competitive market and praised for the time and effort put into both growing the business and helping higher education institutions to evolve during the pandemic.
A representative from the awards said:
“Kortext’s growth has been nothing short of phenomenal, and its people must have had to work extremely hard to adapt to such a rapidly changing environment.”
Kortext withstood stiff UK and international competition from shortlisted organisations like IPEVO, Glean, Enroly and Kent County Council, and impressed the board of expert judges which included Melissa Highton (Assistant Principal for Online and Open Learning at The University of Edinburgh), Colin Hickie (Director of Digital Learning at Squaricle Group) and Nishy Lall (Head of Young People at Sky) to name just a few.
Shared values
Kortext shares the Digital Education Awards’ core value – “that technology not only increases access to education, but improves education”. With the Kortext platform, we support equity of access and experience for all by providing institutions with digital content, smart study tools and engagement analytics to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
James Gray, CEO Kortext, commented:
“It’s been a challenging and rewarding year for everyone in the education industry and I’m exceptionally proud of all we have achieved in this time, particularly in the face of the pandemic.
“This award is testament to the sheer dedication and determination of the entire team here at Kortext who have gone over and above to support institutions and develop our products to best serve students, academics, librarians and leaders.”
