Kortext and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport announce strategic partnership to advance AI-driven, hyper-personalised learning across the Middle East and North Africa

 

London, UK, 27 November 2025 – Kortext has announced a landmark strategic partnership with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) to accelerate the adoption of AI-powered learning and high-quality digital content across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The agreement was formally signed by His Excellency Professor Dr Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag (President of AASTMT) and James Gray (CEO and Founder of Kortext) during a ceremony at One Birdcage Walk in London, attended by Sir Steve Smith (the UK Government’s International Education Champion) and Sarah Chidgey (Head of International Education at the UK Department for Business and Trade).

This partnership positions AASTMT at the forefront of digital and AI-enabled learning innovation in the MENA region. Building on Kortext’s recent collaboration with Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, Microsoft and Instructure, the initiative brings together advanced AI learning technologies, world-class digital content, and data-driven insights to support learners, educators and researchers across the Academy.

At a time when universities across the region are rapidly embracing AI to strengthen quality, access and competitiveness, this collaboration marks a significant step forward in shaping the future of higher education.
