We’ve brought some generative AI study tools to our mobile, tablet and desktop apps
We’ve made some exciting updates to our apps! From September 2024, study+ users will be able to use the summarise, AI study notes and question and answer tools on their Kortext app in addition to doing so on the web platform.
Doing so has helped to bring the user experience on our apps closer to that of our web platform, allowing users to study without limits, regardless of what device they’re using.
These AI tools are available for study+ users across all apps – MAC, iOS, Windows and Android.
Summarise allows the users to condense content in a near-instant fashion, while AI study notes delivers a similar experience but in bullet point form. Together, they allow the user to digest the information they need more efficiently. They can then test that knowledge using the Q&A function, ensuring they are retaining the information provided.
A user can interact with any of three study tools we’ve added this month via the purple widget – mirroring the experience on our desktop platform. What’s different, however, is the ability to shift this widget into any of the four corners of the tablet or smartphone. This will prevent the widget from sitting on top of any content where screen sizes are smaller.
As part of this update, study+ users can also now apply these generative AI tools to side-loaded content uploaded via the My files feature. This means the power of our secure, ring-fenced AI technology can be applied to your own content when uploaded into the Kortext cloud.
